In this process, the raw material is placed at room temperature, heated, and vulcanized inside a custom-made mould. This technique enables the production of extremely precise parts that conform to the required dimensions during the design phase. Additionally, the hardness of the rubber can be accurately determined based on the specific use of the component.

Pieffe manufactures moulded rubber articles using various types of elastomers available in the market, including FKM (Viton®), silicone, NBR, natural rubber (NR), neoprene, EPDM, SBR, HNBR, fluorosilicone, Buna, Hypalon, and more. The dynamic production capability of Pieffe, which includes compression and injection presses with extractable magnetic plates, allows for the manufacturing of small series (prototypes) or large quantities in diverse application sectors.
